Badr

4 days to Ramadhan.

My 5th Ramadhan in Melbourne.

Allahumma ballighna Ramadhan.

Ramadhan. A month full of surprise. Surprise of maghfirah. Surprise of barakah. Surprise of dua’.

When I think of Ramadhan, I think of Badr. I think of people of Badr. I think of yaumul furqan. I think of Rasulullah saw cried desperately to Allah.

The people of Badr, is the best people among the best. The highest rank of people in the eyes of Allah. The people that bring out the proof of the first existence of dakwah.

The people of Badr, during the best month of the year, being tested.

The people of Badr, during the best month of the year, give up everything they have for the sake of Allah.

The people of Badr, during the best month of the year, their iman, is not questionable. At all.

The people of Badr, during the best month of the year, how closed they are to Allah? Is not imaginable.

The people of Badr, during the best month of the year, Jannah is granted. Jannah is guaranteed.

This people of Badr. We should envy them. We should envy their iman. Their amal. Their tawakal.

Out of all months, Allah choose them during Ramadhan.

How special is that. How great are they.

Allahumma ballighna Ramadhan.

Allah, choose me, not to be the people of Badr, but choose me to try, try become like the people of Badr.

People of Badr. I envy you.

See you in Jannah.
